Another cosmetic pouch on the go for sis-in-law. Just a finishing touch (to add snap buttons for the inside .
Ignore the headband on top of the pouch hehehe..just a show off :) Starting to make some pencil cases for some outstanding orders , hope my clients can bear with the delayed delivery :)
Ehem.....doing button crafting now? Oh well.....kinda fun you know when looking at those lovely buttons on the clips , french barette etc...so I was kind of playing around with them, arranging , gluing here and there and tadaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Not impressive? It's ok....the buttons managed to make me smile.. :)
Here you go.....the end result of the previous crocheting that I did heheheh
done using granny square as the body and half double crochet as the edging :)
And yes! I got an award!!!! It's by PocketChange (http://pocketchange.become.com/) a cool , great shopping advice portal , from beauty & style, home living & design, baby, eco-friendly livin.g..u just name it! And you will just drool on the shopping blogs that they have...wayyyy tooo coool people! Thank you Kim of PocketChange!Muahhhhhhhh
I just had the guts to try this out lately...suddenly the confidence level seems to exist out of nowhere :) So with few references from the Internet on granny pattern, I braved myself to start the stitches...
What will be the end result then? Hmmmm...let me think about it hehehehe
Kinda fun and exciting to see these arrangement of colours , lying and curling on the table hehehhe. But when it comes to make them completed...pheww...it take ages (due to my slow pace hehehe). I'm sure some of other crocheters can just finish these in a short of time but sometimes I really need to have the mood, the energy and of coz the strength of my eyesight to finish them :) Told you I have good excuses hehheheh. Ok , let's talk about these headbands. Some of the orders are just plain simple headbands requested by the buyers. Probably, they have other ideas to decorate the headbands which I think you can do so many creations with these plain crocheted headbands...you can add beads, ribbons, cool buttons or even artificial flowers on it. Your creativity can turn them into lovable, cute headbands for kids and even adults :)
I've been wanting to do this for quite a while. But due to time constraint plus office work, housework, orders bla bla bla***excuse ;-) ...at last I managed to try out these lovable tiny weeney flowers. And once I started, it was so difficult to stop ehehehhe, simpley because I love seeing them getting more and more in the box . Now I have another excuse to delay other orders muahahahahhahahaha...
Anyway... these flowers are easy to make..but I found that using Minlon yarn was so much easier than NONA , I think due to the smooth and softness of the yarn but still it's so much fun and once you're on to it, you will tend to be more faster crocheting them. You can do lots of creation with these cuties huh?
