Stuffs That Make Me Go Crazy :)

Lately, I would try to control myself from entering any craft shops. Why? Becausseeeeeeee...they will make me go crazyyyyyyyy... I will start drooling over the shelves of crochet wool, colourful threads, pweetyyyy beads and buttons. But then, they always win u know. Look what happened after the 'battle' :)

Flower Crochet Exploration

I was introduced to crochet few years back...frankly speaking, wayyyyyyy years back hehehe. Anyway.. it's been a while i'm crocheting and since recently I've been involving myself with felt craft, I started to crochet back and hoping to get back my momentum. Luckily, the Internet nowadays really helps with all the tutorials and also from the great bloggers like this blog (http://sugarstitch.blogspot.com/) that I managed to learn the flower stitch (thanks sugarstich and littlebirdie).

Craft-Hobby & Fun

I'm totally overwhelmed with great support from office friends and Internet friends on my new hobby. It's a GREAT feeling when people love what u have created/designed. Order...Order...hehhee

I'm beginning to enjoy this little therapy of mind. It is starting to grow in me. But I'm still so new...so naive...so innocent in felt craft hehehehe.....Oh! how i wish to learn from the experts. I'm so grateful to have learned some basic on felt craft from my dear friend Liza. Liza, I'm starting to get eye sore heheheh!!! Below are few orders that I managed to complete . Argghhhh....need to be more aggressive in sewing...lalalalala

New Project or Therapy?

I've always love handcraft such as crosstiches, crochet, drawing. And lately, I was suddlenly introduced towards 'FELT CRAFT' by my dear friend , Liza. She's so creative and I just love her work in felt craft. You can check her cute creations at http://sekocinorlie.blogspot.com/.

So, I started to play around with this felt stuff and it gave me a bit of relieve and therapy..just like reading a book. Check out my trial creations :)

Perhentian

Sometimes i wonder if we do take care of our environment. What have we done to protect the nature especially our islands and underwater world? My trip to Perhentian recently did give me some views, perceptions and hopes for the corals and underwater lives. I did see some damages of corals in certain parts of the Perhentian Island, Redang and Lang Tengah. We can't depend on the local authorities to protect these. We must do it together for there will be no more to see in years to come. No corals means no tourists will visit the islands and that means no income for the local people. From my observation, the workers ,the snorkeler guides at the islands play the most important roles to preserve the mother nature. Here are some shots (courtesy from Cekna) from the recent trip and I'm sure the underwater lives would be much better if extensive awareness and care have been were practiced since the early days. Hope I can still meet with the nemos and turtles in my future visit there.

My Love.....

Perhentian Island. Verdict : EXCELLENT :)....I want to go back, I miss the island already, the warmth of the people, the sea, corals, turtles . Managed to capture the feet shot...not sure whether it's similar to what I've posted previously...but who cares! I had the best moments in my life there. More stories to come ..sooon.Meanwhile...enjoy my feet shot :)

Islands

Islands never fail to amaze me , especially islands in East Coast of Malaysia and also the East Malaysia.Probably because I've never been outside Malaysia's islands hehehe.So, thinking that this year, I've not yet gone for any vacation, my girlfriends and I will be heading to Perhentian Island this July ! Yeay! So , I'm sure I will be enjoying myself with the beautiful corals, beaches and nemos...hehehehe. Hope I can capture a photo like the above minus the nail color hehehhe.
